This project has been included in Measure 123A Axis 1 RDP 2007 - 2013, co-financed by the E.G.T.A.A. includes modernization of infrastructure and improvement of production lines of products, and upgrade internal operations of the plant milk vaccine.
The main activity of the plant, which is owned by the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Volos, is the collection and processing of milk (cow and goat) to produce fresh milk, cheese and yogurt and placing on the market. The vaccine is a pioneer in the industry certified organic milk products (goat and cow bottled fresh organic milk and derivatives thereof; yogurt goat and sheep biological, organic goat butter and goat cheese organic) which are available throughout Greece.
