The Ministry of Rural Development and Food in cooperation with the Support Unit of National Rural Network organized a conference on “The role of legume in sustainable agriculture and the upcoming climate changes”.
The meeting was held Wednesday, April 9, at 10 am at the Center of the Earth of Organization Earth, at Ilion with many participants coming from academic, research and educational sector as well as officers of the Ministry.
The conference took place in the context of the proclamation of 2014 as the "Year of Legume”. The main purpose was to encourage axons of targeted policy which is first implemented by the Ministry to support the cultivation of legumes due to their great importance in people's nutrition, in fodder production and in environmental protection.
